We have two kids at Agassiz. Our main impression has been that while the academic side is well taken care of, the social development side could use more proactive attention. Like many schools in this part of the district (north side), inequality is an issue, a function of income inequality. The upper-middle-class kids have their own cliques, and if you are priced out of the fancy activities or clubs, you will get excluded. All the teachers we've interacted with have been excellent.
