Based on my personal experience with a special needs child, I believe the school has a great principal who is working every day to improve and bring in new activities. I find the extracurricular groups to be excellent. Things will continue to improve as long as we all work together as a team. As parents, we must stay involved and committed to supporting our children and making the most of all the resources available to help shape their future.

We’re so happy to have our two kids at LaSalle II. The school is incredibly well organized, and the community is wonderful. It’s a challenging environment, but the teachers and staff have supported our children every step of the way, helping them rise to meet high standards. On top of that, they’re learning a second language! This is what all CPS schools should aspire to be. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot, don’t hesitate to send your kids to LaSalle II.

As a parent of both an 8th grader and a 6th grader, I’ve had the opportunity to experience this school across multiple stages, and it’s been a genuinely positive journey for our family. What stands out most is how intentionally each child is known and supported, not just academically, but as a whole person. Our children have been consistently seen, challenged, and encouraged in ways that have helped them grow in confidence and independence.The world is changing rapidly and looks very different from when we first chose this school years ago. There is clear academic rigor, but it never comes at the expense of student well-being.
