Marshall Metropolitan High School

I know many things have changed over the years, but my Mother whom just passed away attended this school in the 30's , if I'm calculating correctly. Before she passed she remembered the school and mentioned having fun with her friends there. So we all make what we can out if our lives. Do our best and these will live with us through our lives! My Mom was almost 94 years old.

My experience at this school on a scale of 1-10 would be an 8. They create greatness within those walls.

Kellman Staff and teacher are awesome. What people fail to realize is that parents are teachers FIRST and then the teacher are there to aid us. The school is a great place to send your kids.. a family atmosphere. Can't wait to bring my 3 year old into the program!!! It takes a village.

Terrible school and my son said they treated him terrible and make learning harder

It was an pretty good school until this new principal got in. She is horrible and a bully. She has made it so that many of the students want to transfer and get out of their Jensen has lost a lot of good students and good staff. They need to get rid of the new principal, Dr. Conley.

I am disappointed in HFM, because I was told my child wasn't ready for Kindergarten when 1st kindergarten isn't even mandatory in Illinois but my biggest reason I am disappointed in HFM because this is suppose to be a FAITH based school but they are fake in their faith and they really don't believe in the word of GOD. Who turns their back on a child just because they learn different than other students. My son is very bright and knows and have more faith in GOD and he is only 5yrs old. Then when I emailed them stressing my concerns to consider him, Ms Moore ignored me. I had hope in them but they are FAKE and money hungry I am assuming just like they assumed that my son wasn't ready for kindergarten. But GOD has better plans for us.

Terrible school. Just withdrew my 1st grader. It’s 10/20 and she still don’t have all of her text books or a gym uniform. They fired the teacher for speaking up about the questionable practices and policies the school has and didn’t inform parents until almost 72 hours later even though they knew they were firing her when they spoke to parents an hour before they did it. When I went to the school to speak to admin about who would be teaching my child and why they were moving in secrecy, I was told they didn’t know and could not enter the school and speak with the dean to find out. I then demanded that they go get my daughter out of the school since I did not know who she was in there with and was told no and had the door shut in my face. This is the most disrespectful and deceitful educational institution I have ever experienced. Do not send your children here if you care about their education and mental health. The school admin doesn’t care about either!
