Thus school is the worst ever, rudeness, the principal does care about the students, teachers are uner staff and gives no homework assignments. Fighting

I think this school tries very hard to compete. The teacher seem to be engaged and concerned about the students. I enjoyed helping my children with there excessive homework. I believe in home work so this was a plus for Dunne. The children's safety is very important to the staff as well. They are encouraged to plan for college which leaves lasting affects!

I grew up in Washington Heights. My years at Mt. Vernon I had excellent Teachers who cared about their students. My 3rd grade teacher is why I currently work for a school district in Illinois.

I think Lavizzo is turning out to be a good school. In the past it was horrible. There are some community members who make it tough at the school because they dont check there kids. The school is turning around and it is a better school now.

As a former student my mental health was at its absolute worst during my time at Whistler. School sometimes seems as if run like a prison in the sense that they only work to fix not prevent they only fix a issue if it caused a problem or if a complaint has been made. The middle school teachers are nice, I can’t quite speak for the other grade groups. Lots of unreported bullying goes on at this school however that is subject to change as students come and go. Some of the systems at this school are corrupted and this school is probably the most basic education you can offer a child.

If your only requirement it's a cheaper " Christian" education, then this is the school for you. However, if it's actually a quality education you seek for your child, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere! Though the teacher. my child had was ok, she lacked the resources and support from administration to truly make a difference. And I also agree with the previous post that everything is so disorganized! To see real improvement, a change is definitely needed staying. at the top!
