Earle Elementary School

My experience was great. We were not a wealthy family, there were 7 kids in our family. My father didn't work during winter so we were poor, but were taught respect and responsibility.

My child was disrespected and depressed due to the teaching staff of 8th grade mainly the science teacher.

The school is very unorganized I feel like the principal doesn't do anything and only cares about her reputation. The social emotional support and special education is SO BAD, the learning is really bad too I learned nothing at this school. They are low on staff, the school couldn't find teachers since the start of the school year because the teachers DO NOT want to go to this school. I did not have a homeroom teacher for the school year so we basically didn't learn anything same with having a substitute for the math teacher and when the math teacher was there they got angry at us for us not understanding the way of how they teach. I feel unprepared for high school. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOUR CHILD GOING TO THIS SCHOOL THEY WILL LEARN NOTHING HERE PLUS THE SCHOOL REALLY NEEDS TO UPGRADE THE BUILDING THE CEILINGS IS CRUMBLING.

Some of the staff doesn't have the best of perfessional attitudes when addressing someone.

This school sucks don’t put your child in there

I am incredibly grateful for Academy of St. Benedict the African in the Englewood area of Chicago. My children have been enrolled for the past three years, and the experience has truly been a blessing for our family. One of my children has already graduated and is doing exceptionally well in high school, which I strongly attribute to the strong academic and spiritual foundation he received at the Academy. I also have another child preparing to graduate who continues to excel academically and personally.My youngest has been enrolled since preschool, and it has been amazing to watch her grow into a confident, intelligent, and well-rounded student. The school’s academic structure is organized, challenging, and supportive. The teachers are not only highly qualified but genuinely care about each child’s success. They go above and beyond to ensure the safety, development, and overall well-being of every student.What truly sets this school apart is the sense of community, faith-based values, and individualized attention given to families. The staff communicates effectively, encourages parental involvement, and creates an environment where children feel safe, respected, and motivated to achieve their best.I wholeheartedly recommend Academy of St. Benedict the African to any family seeking a nurturing, academically strong, and spiritually grounded education in the Englewood area. It has made a lasting impact on my children’s lives, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
