Posted by a parent on 4/27/2022I was there for a couple of months but the experience is real. The teachers don't force you to do anything, the push you and encourage you to do your best. It's follow yourself and do good no matter what else happens or fail doing nothing at all.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWell, I'm a student at Wendell Smith and I think Wendell smith has some very great teachers that are dedicated and actually care about the students. At the same time they cant really control us because if they could control us, our testing scores wouldn't be below average and under 80%. It's not necessarily the teachers, but the students. This school is also like this due to the enviorment. I think if we had more income than before, our school would change because we would be able to acheive more things needed, such as lockers, new books, and etc.. This place is representative of a true community/family oriented school. Everyone there works so very hard to make sure that the students are getting the best education possible. Our son started attending his 4th grade year and now he's about to graduate with honors. He has scholarship opportunities from some of the top high schools. All of this is possible because of the learning team we have at St John. We enrolled our daughter during her 4th grade year and she continues to thrive.
