I like the schools. I don't really have any complaints. I feel like the entire faculty and staff are doing what they can with what they have. If parents are "all-in", you would see that the majority of the staff are as well.

I moved here and my children were not treated well and the administration and teachers are not parent friendly and do not care. I am selling my house to move out of the district. So many issues it is hard to list. If I knew them what I know now, I would have not moved to this community. Academics are mediocre at best, complete lack of knowledge and awareness on special needs and the law (not to mentioned the blatant violations of laws), bullying problem, poor facilities, poor policies, lack of parental involvement at the level needed. Some teachers should not be teaching and their attitude and things they say would get people fired at other jobs. Thankful my kids had an awesome school before we moved here so they know what a good school is. Definitely would NOT recommend this school.

Could not ask for a better school or better teachers. I have always been able to go to any of them with anything and it was resolved or talked about.

CES is only average academically & poor to below average when it comes to caring for children. As a childcare provider, I am appalled at how my child was treated. My child's teacher last year is one the school raves about, however my son's experience wasn't so great. Having been raised in another country, he is not accustomed to how things are here. There was no consideration from his teacher that he may think/act different culturally. He was judged negatively because he didn't respond in a manner she expected/demanded. Here he was taught that he is bad and was lectured about the tiniest thing he said or did with no consideration for his age/maturity (1st grade). It was very clear, just from her notes home, that she was assuming entirely too much about his thoughts/behavior and was judging him harshly for it. Speaking with her about it did no good, she was very closed minded. My son used to love school, now he hates it and doesn't want to go which really upsets me. If things aren't better this year, I will be sending him to a different school.
