3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt has been a great experience so far. It was my daughter's first year of attendance last year and the teachers showed genuine interest and support in encouraging my daughter's academic success. I look forward to another successful year.Parent Review5y ago - Greenman Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying can exist in many forms: It can be physical (pushing, punching, or hitting), verbal (name-calling or threats), or psychological and emotional (spreading rumors or excluding someone from a conversation or activity). The school does not agree. They punish the victim. Cater to the abuser. Poor guidance and ignorance does not excuse this schools response to a child's well being.Other Review4mo ago - Mccleery Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI started my son in Montessori & private schools because I thought he would reach his full potential in unconventional settings. However, at both schools his "behavior" was cause for alarm and so I pulled him out before they could kick him out. Enter McCleery. My son was off to a good start but he started to have problems again - long story short, he was eventually diagnosed ADHD and needed a 504 plan. McCleery teachers and staff were patient and willing to work with me through this process. He started second half of 1st grade with Ms. Larson. She was great in helping with his transition to a new school. 2nd grade Ms Volkert - tough but fair. 3rd grade Ms Cofer, an absolute angel to my child. 4th grade Mr Knapp, just the right combination of discipline, structure and compassion my son needed. The principle Ms Esposito is very helpful and always answered my concerns. Ms Ortiz the social worker has been extremely patient with my son and I, working with him to help him develop the necessary skills he needs to be successful. Maybe this school doesn't rank high in testing, but if you want a school that cares about your child as much as you do, this is the school.Parent Review10y ago - Smith Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely awful. There is a serious lack of resources at this school from old/worn out textbooks to computers that barely run. Their sciences classes don’t cover actual science and their general courses are subjective and not reflective of the world we live in today. Faculty members are constantly rude and should not be around children since they tend to berate them. Finally, the principal named Mrs. Faxon collects money from tuition and the parish but the school doesn’t seem to have any upgrades that can be attributed to that. Save your money and send your child elsewhere.Other Review3y ago
