NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children experience wasn’t the greatest at CLA. Kindergarten was great, 1st grade was fine but 2nd grade was awful. My daughter said that one of her classmate would make fun of her for bringing certain types of food, she told the Guardian there and she just brushed it off. So when I went to the office and spoke about this issued which happened few times they spoke with the other girl and her parents but nothing seemed to come through because it continued and we sent an email about this and at that point I was fed up, I spoke to my husband and decided we will not return to this school. My son had no issues, but I just felt that their teaching wasn’t all that, he’s a 5th grader and the curriculum wasn’t at par! We are constantly getting more and more emails for fundraising and it does get annoying, the school is way too big for such a small amount of students attending the school. Two former teachers aide or assistant were so sweet and kind but they’re no longer there and they were extremely caring, the staff isn’t all that friendly when you call them out for not being there for the kids! Curriculum is sub-par and this school is way too conservative, more right wing than moderate, something that doesn’t feel right. We recently received the new 2026-2027 tuition is way higher than other better schools options, and I do have to agree with other commenters on here, many of the admins and teachers are somehow related or they’re friends. Teachers are not qualified except few of them, and I didn’t know this school is not accredited, I wish they would have sent an email about this but keeping it hush hush is not a good look for this school. There are plenty and better private schools out here, do your homework before deciding! All I can say is good riddance CLA.Parent Review1mo ago29 Reviews - Our Lady Of The Wayside School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have three children at Our Lady of the Wayside and continue to feel incredibly confident in our decision. The sense of community is something you don’t fully appreciate until you’re part of it—thoughtful leadership, dedicated teachers and staff, and a genuinely supportive parent network all play a role. Our kids receive strong, individualized instruction while also learning how to grow and collaborate with others. One thing we’ve especially valued is the access to on-site resource teachers, including speech support, which ensures students get the help they need right when they need it.Just as important, the values of kindness, forgiveness, grace, and compassion aren’t just talked about—they’re lived out daily. We’re grateful to be part of this community.Parent Review1mo ago14 Reviews - St James School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI hope things have improved since I was there. 3 1/2 years there started my PTSD. 65 to 70 kids in a classroom you get scolded when you raise your hand or hit with a stick no questions answered. I was special needs and needed to use the bathroom but could not leave the classroom in spite of doctors notes and parents meeting with the school. The bathroom did not have doors on the stalls, some had toilet paper. The nuns were extremely cruel and un compassionate. You would not believe what I witnessed.Other Review6mo ago12 Reviews - St Peter Lutheran School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our second year at St. Peter, with our children in Grade 2 and Kindergarten. We were initially drawn to the school by its incredible facilities and loving atmosphere, and we've been consistently amazed by the care and effort the staff pours into the children and learning environment. We're grateful to be part of the St. Peter family.Principal Goffron is kind, approachable, and dedicated to maintaining high standards while continuously improving the school's offerings and support for each child and staff member. He and Emily (Director of Enrollment) welcome students at circle drive every morning, rain or shine, along with the grade 8 volunteers, ensuring an efficient, safe and positive start to each day. This gesture warms my heart and is a testament to the quality of care at the school from the top down. The teaching staff and education level exceed our expectations. Communication is excellent, and the schoolwork is challenging, and tailored to each child. My kids love their teachers, classmates, and look forward to school each day!Parent Review1y ago25 Reviews - Flower Garden Nursery School & Daycare Center
