They don't help with bullying and don't teach well.

Awful school. Went there and left. School is now run by a principal who goes out and drinks with the parents at the school. The parents that run the school. All they have to do is run to the principal crying and they get their way. They’ve even gotten people fired before. For no reason. Person who says only a few families don’t run the school is probably apart of said families. All they do is drink and drink and drink

This is my daughter’s first year at Mississippi Valley after completing kindergarten and 1st grade in a public school. Her social skills and reading have improved tremendously. Small class sizes ensure that your child will get the attention they need to learn successfully. My daughter was not very social in Alton school district due to the distractions of children with behavior issues. The parents seem to have similar Christian values as I do and I feel this school was a good choice for my family. I hope their enrollment increases, because this school is a hidden gem in our community. In today’s society it is hard to educate your children without woke ideology and degeneracy being shoved down their throats. Mississippi Valley gives me a feeling of comfort knowing that my child is not being indoctrinated with toxic liberal ideals. The tuition is very affordable for working class parents on a budget.

Where do I even start. I went to this school from 2-8th grade as a diganosed autistic person and I had to start masking in order to feel like I wasn't different from the other kids. This is because I was the only autistic kid there. Teachers often got me in trouble for typical autistic behaviors because they weren't trained. My 5th grade teacher was a religious nut who would give lunch detentions for just saying god's name in vain. The religion teacher was a homophobic bigot. The principal was a tirant who cared about more how we were dressed and the school's reputation that the students. he would also get annoyed at kids for doing things that kids normally do. This is a school that cares more about shoving religious principles down our throats than teaching us how to be good people. I am no longer a christian due to this place, so I hope they're happy.

Ms. Andrea Montgomery, Dr. Tiffany Fane, and Pastor Tanya Brown were remarkable educators at New Visions Christian Academy. Each of my children received individualized instruction at New Visions Christian Academy. I was able to get my children to revert back to the basics in reading, writing, and arithmetic thanks to the PACE Curriculum. By the time they left the program, they had closed any skills gaps and advanced beyond their current grade level. As a result of the school's teachers, they attend a reputable high school and are learning at grade level. In addition to encouraging, supporting, and motivating my children, they set high academic standards for them. A Christian school that emphasizes academics as well as prayer and scripture memorization was also appealing to me.
