Garwood Elementary School

Very happy with the school. The front office is always on top of things and pleasant to deal with. The principal is engaged with staff and students. The school feels very secure with the safety protocols and the officer who is stationed there. My son's 2nd grade teacher was warm, friendly, and good

When my son transferred from private school the staff at Garwood worked hard to help him adjust to his new settings. His grades are up and he excited to go to school. He has received the perfect attendance award 2 years in a row and the citizen award last year.

Garwood Elementary exceeds every expectation I have for my daughters school. We have lived in Montana and Alaska also and I was so happy to come home to the Lakeland School Dist. Garwood teachers care about the whole child, not just passing tests...

This is such a wonderful school! The staff are excellent and so attentive. the principal, Mr. DeAustin is very involved with everything. the PTO is wonderful and so helpful. I feel my kids have learned so much and look forward to all the wonderful years they will spend going here1
