worse place to send your children Overdue review! My experience was from kinder - second grade. Parents and kids are great, but lots of homework and not enough time for after school activities. Lots of bullying, pressure, and favoritism by elementary school staff. If your child isn't liked they will let it be know. Please do your homework and ask lots of questions. I would not recommend this school for young children learning should be fun, no need to add so much pressure to little kids. Check out other private schools in the area before you make a decision.there's absolutely no help when it comes to children with special needs there allowed to nap in the office or they get put in a room all by them self if there having a hard time understanding the subject this is not ok there's a time my child told me his teacher had garbed his arm hard to remove him from the room my son then stated and stood up for himself that this was child abuse he screamed it outload to where other teachers could here this then made the teacher uncomfortable and then she has called me and informed me i do not agree with how this school treats there kids parents were not allowed to attended some school activities such as movie day where all the kids would sit in the gym and watch a movie we do not and will never attend this school ever again

I was extremely disapponted in the lack of care in meeting my child's academic needs without the school needing to defend the curriculum and failing to recognize one child's need to be challenged.

This is the worst school to send your special needs child. It is the worst school to send any child to. The bullying in this school is out of hand. The way it is dealt with is not to deal with it at all. What makes it even worse is that the bullying isn't only being done by children. At least one of the teachers also bullies these kids. The principle doesn't return calls. Four years after having our first meeting about my special needs child, still nothing has been done. No plan is put into place for her. I call, I show up unannounced, I talk to the superintendent. Yet still no meetings and no IEP for my child. After four years, the principle actually will turn and hurry the opposite direction when I come to the school. My child has been bullied for 5 years by a child from the same grade. Yet every year they have put them in the same class together. Not one time have they even talked to the other child, even though the problem has been brought to the counselor and the principle multiple times every year, not only by my child, my husband and I have addressed it many times, and so have other children from the same class. Calls and emails still go unanswered. Add to all of that, that my children complain about the expired milk they are given with lunch and the hairs they find in their food because the lunch ladies do not wear hairnets. The teachers do not seem to care about the children at all. With the exception of an amzing teacher, Mrs. Carrie.

Mr. Lippy is a kind caring responsible principal that the students enjoy talking to and visiting with. My children have enjoyed the teachers and am pleased about the programs they have to enhance and assist my childrens education. They send informative newsletters home and want our feedback.. Good job PRE

At Priest River Elementary we are striving to increase awareness to the community about the importance of reading skills. We are implementing new, fun and exciting lessons to help the students get motivated to learn. The staff makes sure each individual student knows that they can do anything they set their minds to; with a little hard work and a lot of encouragement. The teachers make themselves available during their lunch to make sure those who are struggling get the extra help they need and deserve. We encourage parent and community involvement. As a staff member and parent, I have seen these teachers do everything they can think of to help all students, no matter the situation. They truly have a passion for teaching the next generation, not just testing to see what they remember. They all want to see these students succeed.
