Posted by a student on 2/27/2026This school is overcrowded, I do feel bad for the teachers, but they are actively telling parents now that they do not have the time or energy to help our kids. This is a glorified babysitter, without the individualized attention.

Posted by a community member on 12/12/2023Since the district issued laptops came out the 2018-19 school year there is complete disorganization, no additional help regarding tech for students whom need help & not enough teacher outreach to parents regarding any arising issues regarding failure or possible student failure.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCame on here to point out that the 18:1 student to teacher ratio is untrue. Our kid has been in Lakevue their entire academic career and has never been in a classroom that small--the smallest was kindergarten with 25 or 26 students; largest was second grade with 32 students. The district is massively overcrowded and Lakevue is at capacity.The teachers and principal really care about students, and when our child was bullied in kindergarten, the issue was addressed quickly. Safety is very important and the school has a locked fence surrounding the playground, doorbell with camera for parents/guests at the front door, and each classroom seems to be locked (according to what our child has told us). Unfortunately new staff up at the front office have hassled my kid more than once over a simple situation that could have been handled. My child's teacher communicates daily over the school app to parents, sharing what the kids are learning, and keeping parents involved. Any question or concern can be discussed directly with the teacher and is handled right away. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is not a truly Catholic school and not a classical education.Unfortunately this school has a reputation of not treating Catholic families or children like Christians and they have succumbed to a public school education, wrapped in a cross on the building.
