Read what parents are saying about Heritage Middle SchoolIt's great. Some policies by admin have not been the best though
Posted by a parent on 5/18/2023This school sucks my child is depressed and traumatized by this school please don't go there.
Posted by a parent on 8/23/2021I would rate my experience at this school 5 stars. Though the students are not the best, the teachers are. They each have their own techniques, and even is a student doesn’t like them, they still learn. The school is relatively clean and has a drama, art, and music program. All students are allowed and welcomed, and it is overall a great school.
Posted by a student on 6/27/2019My grandson so to Hertiage and is in the resource class and the teacher Mr.Dedlow is a amazing teacher,my grandson loves the school and has very good teachers, office staff, counselor, principal.when ever we have had any concerns they are taken with amazing principal Mrs.Rutan. My grandson knows all the office staff and janitor. The janitor keep that school so clean and nice. Thank you all at Heritage Middle School for having the best people. You feel welcome when you come there.
Posted by a community member on 3/24/2017Terrible leadership. The principal wears Holy jeans and flip-flops. No professionalism in her dress or demeanor. My son with LD had a good counselor, my very advanced son: terrible and 2 different ones in 2 years. Most teachers awful. They were great to work with on Dual enrollment: part-time homeschooled, part time at the school. I loved a couple of the specialty teachers: band director and drama teacher. Did not attempt to prepare children for high school.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI previously wrote a review for the school in great error. There were a few misunderstandings as well as other personal contributing factors that did not relate to them in the slightest and unfortunately I took out my feelings of helplessness and frustrations on my review. That being said. I have recently worked out the misunderstanding with this school’s amazing staff and have resolved my concerns. Everyone seems genuinely kind, caring, and helpful. I am new to the “school” world, but the compassion and understanding they have shown, I am extremely grateful. Truly a wonderful team of professionals. Your child is in great hands here. We are very blessed. Thank you Chief Joe!Parent Review7mo ago - River Valley Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnorganized, poor communication, and overall a very disappointing experience. I reached out for help multiple times when I noticed my child was not where they needed to be academically and was met with A) no response for several weeks or B) a “they’ll grow into it” response.Other Review2y ago - Discovery Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe transferred from another school in the area when we moved from another area of Meridian. We have been so pleased with Hunter! It is so much better for my son. He went from disliking school to LOVING it. His teachers have been so excellent, and the school has good security and educational standards.Parent Review3y ago - Prospect Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been attending Prospect since 2011. We have had nothing but great experiences with teachers, administrators, office staff, PTA, and even crossing guards. They truly go above and beyond the basics. Of course mileage varies depending on the teachers your kids get, but overall, we have found them friendly and caring, with enough backbone to hold off chaos in the classroom. There are several activities throughout the year that parents and families can participate in. Thanks to all the amazing people who keep this neighborhood school running smoothly!Parent Review1y ago - Paramount Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter started at this school in 3rd grade and fit in well. Great teacher to student ratio. Pure education, no social justice indoctrination like you see at some public schools. Excellent caring teachers and staff is very supportive to the needs of the students. After 3 years at Challenger, we can strongly recommend it to any parents that want an excellent core education for their child. Students here are more advanced in their academics than many public and private schools. We have been very pleased with the school and would highly recommend it. The only drawback is the cost of the school is on the higher end for a private school in the treasure valley, but it is worth the expat cost in my opinionParent Review1y ago
