Falls Valley Elementary School

Some of the teachers are wonderful but there are some that act like they are in Jr High. It's a popularity contest among teachers. There are a few particular teachers who are mean to students that aren't the top of the class or the perfectly behaved students. The ones that need extra love. The principal puts on a show. It's all about her! She is very rude and if you don't have a college degree she treats you as if you're inferior. She and some of her staff are very clicky.

Cloverdale's principal and teachers are amazing! All of my children's teachers have taught them to do their best, and learn as much as they can. My oldest was really ready for middle school! The office staff is warm and friendly.

This school and the all the staff is amazing! My circumstance is a little bit different then others with my son, we have had alot going on over the last 4 years that my son has attended school there with his father causing alot of problems. Let me just tell tell you that the staff has been so helpful, caring, understanding, and has absoultly had nothing but my sons best intrest at heart. They have gone above and beyond to help our family and make sure that my son has been happy and healthy. We are sad that he is changing schools this coming year becuase the staff at Dora Erickson has been the absoulte best!! If you want a school that child will thrive at, this is the place!

If I could give the school zero stars I would. There are certainly some good staff members but over all this school is awful. We have watched this school go down hill for years. Kids who report bullying on the playground are told to mind their own business. When victims of bullying seek help they are told it is their fault. We have witnessed several situations where children were allowed to physically and emotionally abuse others with little to no consequences. Children who struggle academically are given the minimum help possible. Everyone is taught to the lowest level possible. The adults (parents and staff) are extremely clique oriented and more interested in furthering their own social status than actually creating a positive and effective educational environment. Overall the education provided by this school is a joke.

The real question is, how can you not love this school? My child has loved this school from day one, and every year the teachers have touched her life in unique ways; she hasn't forgotten any of them. I have seen my child grow in maturity as well as her educational learning each year. She comes home daily and tells me every conversation she has with the principal and teachers, and not once have I disagreed with what they say to her.
