Wow! I cannot say enough amazing things about NICS! We absolutely love the staff, teachers and students and feel so blessed to be apart of the NICS family. Our family had a few issues at another school that made us need to change schools, and they embraced us in a way that I have not seen a school do before. The staff and teachers truly shine Jesus' light and have a heart for every single child and want to raise up God-fearing, respectful, kind, loving and well-rounded young men and women. I know every school has their issues, I have 10 years of teaching experience too so I know, but I watched the teachers and staff seek the Lord through it all. They really impressed me in every way. I urge anyone who is looking for a great school for their children, who will have staff and teachers who truly CARE about them and make them feel loved and that they have a purpose in this world, then I highly recommend you go take a tour and meet everyone. It's a special place. One more quick example: my sweet 2nd grade boy was very with-drawn and introverted at school (not who he is at home, he's lively, makes jokes all the time, and super happy and energetic). At the previous school even though he had a good teacher, he started shutting down at did not want to go anymore. We really struggled with watching our boy get frustrated and start to hate school, even through he loved reading, art, math and music. When we made the switch to NICS, I met with the teacher and explained this to him and he listened and he took it as his mission to be there for my kiddo. WOW! Just a few weeks into the year my boy was smiling again, had friends and had his joy back! At the end of the year he was given the "Joy Award", and the teacher commented that he also should get the "class clown" award too because he would make the whole class laugh all the time! My sweet boy was able to be the young man that God created him to be, and this teacher helped bring that out in him, even in the learning environment! During this time too his grades went from just below grade-level to at/above level!! He THRIVED!! Thank you to that teacher and to the staff for truly CARING about our boys!!! We couldn't have a better support system and team and school!!! We love NICS!!!

This school has had some issues recently with its Board and releasing a new principal, when the board was challenged by the parents, there was no willingness to discuss it or compromise. Parents learned first hand there are some issues with the board and not following "its" own rules. Overall most of the teachers have a heart for the children, but there are some internal issues which need to be worked out.

Terrible school, the board members are awful and break their own policies, they elect themselves, and fired the best principle they had for a reason they refuse to disclose

North Idaho Christian has been an amazing school for both of my kids for the past couple of years. They are getting all of the classic learning with the addition of a Bible-based education! The teachers and staff are great. They constantly communicate to you about your child's progress and where they may need more help. The coaches that my children have had for the past couple of years are very dedicated and amazing teachers too.

The teachers and administrators love Jesus and want the best for the students.
