Although I was frustrated with the last administration with communication and how things were dealt with I stayed because my kid was excelling so much socially and academically. The teachers are amazing all the way from K to 5th grade, the admin are great with a principal who cares for teachers and students, and it is a fun learning environment that nurtures learning! The PTA is highly involved with raising funds to improve playground equipment, indoor amenities, and there are plenty of extracurricular activities and sports that play at Chubbuck’s fields such as soccer, T-ball, flag football, softball, etc. Several school sponsored activities including their awesome color run, several book fairs, a science STEM night, donut & books event, field trips, singing programs, and end of the year field day. From day one, the staff has been warm, attentive, and deeply committed to each child’s individual development. The teachers are not only knowledgeable and patient, but they also genuinely see and support each child, meeting them where they are and helping them reach their full potential.The Montessori approach has given our kids the freedom to explore their interests while building a strong foundation in academics, critical thinking, and problem-solving. We’ve seen tremendous growth in both of them, not just intellectually, but socially and emotionally as well. Their confidence, curiosity, and independence have blossomed, and we credit so much of that to the environment at Pocatello Valley Montessori School.Pocatello Valley Montessori School is a gem.
