My child attends this school and just loves it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I love how the teachers encourage parent involvement. My child's teacher was always open for discussions with any concerns I may have. The teacher went out of her way to keep my child engaged and interested. The teachers are very passionate about what they do, and if you or your child are having any type of issues they are there to help.

My School is.... Untity Elementary School. I love this school because the teachers are loving,caring, kind and they cater to the individual needs of each student instead of as a whole. I really like that they have equipment to assist children with hearing impairments and keep us parents informed of everything.

As a parent of a secondary student the school has great teachers, dean of students and principals but the senior leadership who make the majority of the decisions and policies are more interested in image, reputation, accepting people they deem worthy and money for their new building. Your family will be interviewed before they accept your child to deem your worth. Bullying is bad at this school. All the comments on this site and other sites about the bullying problem are completely true. The school's valedictorian addressed the bullying problem during graduation last year because it was such a serious problem. Athletics at this school are struggling and that is a nice way of saying it. The school's athletic department is drastically lacking; scores and stats would suggest the school's athletics are the worst in the state. Boys basketball and theater are the priority; all other sports and activities are expendable. If you don't believe me, ask yourself why the basketball team continues to lose but still exists and two sports have been canceled. If the administration supports your extracurricular they will bend the rules and do everything to support your child regardless of academic performance or behavior. If they do not support your extracurricular you are out of luck. Chapel is incredible at this school but the secondary students do not take it serious or make a joke of it. If you're looking for a non-denominational school where your child will feel welcome and free from bullying and want them to succeed in extras other than theater I'd highly recommend looking somewhere else. Hopefully a change in adult leadership at the top level will change this school or they'll continue to see a mass exodus of transfers like they did this year. Again, great teachers, principals and Dean of Students who all care and try their best but the good stops there. My fear is that many of these caring teachers and educators will leave and I would understand why they'd want to leave.
