Read what parents are saying about North High SchoolSchool was terrible, i was not able to concetrate in class because everyone would talk, i wanted to put on ONE earbud to cancel out the noise, (im in one class doing 5 credits to graduate (im a early graduate). This school is just terrible with keeping expectations to everyone and not just a group of kids.
Posted by a student on 10/17/2022I feel like this is a good school but they need to lessen the crowding in the halls.
Posted by a student on 3/3/2021Overall being a student was very hard and I had some really bad experiences with both faculty and students which caused me leave after my second year and I found a much safer and better atmosphere at another school in the area
Posted by a student on 9/15/2020North High School is the most diverse school in Sioux City and that is one of the pieces I most enjoy about my children attending there. Students are friendly and staff is professional and hard working. It is also a supportive school for children. They have been part of a safe schools grant and have worked very hard to involve parents and students. A diploma from North High School stands for a quality education and my children will have that at the end of their four years there.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHunt School has been a great place for my kids. It serves a very diverse population, like the previous reviewers mention. The teachers at Hunt are committed to the success of their students and that has been obvious from day one. Test scores only tell a small part about a school; many kids here are struggling with larger issues outside of the classroom and may not have had the chance for early childhood education, not to mention having to deal with lower earning power and all the challenges that come with that. There can be a lot of catching up that must be done in the classroom. Despite that, my children have been appropriately challenged when needed and I find the dedication of the principal, teachers and staff to be exemplary.Parent Review11y ago - Leeds Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had a great experience with this school. My son is on an IEP & they do a wonderful job of helping him to reach his goals & of keeping me in the loop on how he is doing. I have nothing but good things to say about Leeds & I would highly recommend this school to other parents of children who need a customized approach to learning!Parent Review5y ago - Unity Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy School is.... Untity Elementary School. I love this school because the teachers are loving, caring, kind and they cater to the individual needs of each student instead of as a whole. I really like that they have equipment to assist children with hearing impairments and keep us parents informed of everything.Parent Review9y ago - Holy Cross School-St Michael Center
