My daughter had only attended this school in 5th grade as that is when it was opened. She had some behavior issues and such. These teachers, the whole staff seemed to take the time required while still holding her accountable for misbehavior. My brothers and I and all 9 of my nieces and my 2 daughters attended Western Dubuque Schools. WD covers a lot of area, a lot of farming communities, and the staff never made one economic class stand out or let them fall between the cracks. I moved my kids to this school district because they wanted to medicate my baby due to a diagnosis of ADHD and I didn't want that. WD had the structure she needed and we never had to use medication. I was blessed to have the help of the entire staff - from the bus drivers to the principals. You will not find a better education.
