Our children have flourished at Lincoln. Teachers seem happy which is a good sign. Many neighborhood parents are professionals but we have not found it to be a pressure-cooker. Changing the high school zoning to City High may have chilled everyone out a bit.

The class sizes are very manageable, and the staff does a great job. The school was renovated a few years ago so everything inside it pretty much state-of-the-art. Linco
Posted by a parent on 2/7/2023Lincoln is a great school with a welcoming community of parents and teachers. Academically, the school is more effective than most elementary schools. We are very pleased with our neighborhood school. The afterschool care program is also good.

He has the ability to make each student feels unique and special. His warm smile and everyday greeting and salutes to the kids. Mr.P makes Shimek my kids’ second home. My kids grow, thrive and academically, they were amongst the best students. Also, Mr. More who taught my kid in 6th grade, Mrs. Montrose second grade teacher, the best, she has a warm heart as big as Victoria lake. She is so sweet, so genuine and very understanding. Mrs. Schneider, third grade teacher, she made my kid a beast on math, science and reading. My kids stayed 4 years in Shimek. One of the best 4 years of our life. I was told that I could pick up my child earlier than the 14:55 out time because he was having a rough time leaving school. Then, I was told after a couple of weeks after that that my child's attendance was an issue.
