Read what parents are saying about Fort Dodge High SchoolThis school is horrible. The administration is terrible, along with sports coaches. There ino disciplinary action for bully by either students or teachers. All they do is “talk” about it. There is no respect when it comes to teachers, administrators or students. All in all, I wish my child wasn’t stuck in the Fort Dodge school system. If you can help it, don’t send your children here.
Posted by a parent on 9/25/2023This is the largest school district in the area. Not only do a great job working with our kids they support many of the smaller school districts and the private schools as well. Test scores can be misleading. There is much more to a great school than scores. They also help with many of the areas special needs students Check them out I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
Posted by a parent on 7/23/2012This school system has great teachers that try their hardest to help our community kids.
Posted by a parent on 6/4/2012I feel that this school district is on its way back to the top. Having had children in this district for over 15 years now, I think that Fort Dodge Senior High School has made some administrative and personnel changes that are turning it into a quality school again. I think the next decade will be one of growth and improvement.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children went to the school when we lived in Ft. dodge. I thought the school was a great place. The level of educatuon was exceptional. The teachers really care about the progress the students make and take it very personally to make sure they are successful.Parent Review13y ago - Holy Rosary Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school had a mission statement saying" where values and academics meet". They should go back to it. Academics are restricted. Poor class offerings due to financial restraints and low student population. The school has not had a national merit finalist for years. An indication of poor performance. St. Edmond has become a feeder program for ICCC. Not surprising considering who is on the school board. Values come from the top, unfortunately they forgot to take Ethics 101. Administration and school board are unchristian and unethical in how they deal with people who don't belong in the "club". Sorry but true.Other Review6y ago - St. Paul Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat Christian values! Firm discipline of students and respect for others. Parents have opportunities to volunteer. We love getting to know new families and made some really great friends. There are children from many denominations. Academics are STRONG. Students test 2+ yrs beyond their grade level on ITBS tests. The transition to public school has been good. Grads from CCS have gone on to public school and they excel among their peers. Many Valedictorians, Class Pres, and Student Body Pres. We have grads with the lead in the HS musicals. CCS offers band for students. Several have been in the Karl King Honor Band. They also have vocal music, sports and cheerleading. All children who go out for a sport get to play. Class sizes are limited, so there is more individual care. There are a few new teachers this year and a new Dean of Students. CCS also has Golden Apple award-winning teachers. All of the teachers challenge their students academically to do their best. The school is currently in the same building with First Evangelical Free Church, but they are looking to move to a separate building in the future. School Bd, Staff and Development have a great vision for the school!Parent Review11y ago - Riverside Elementary School
