Posted by a parent on 5/8/2018I teach at Davenport West, there are a tremendous amount of great teachers and programs available to all types of teenagers. My kids will be going to West, and that is the highest recommendation I can give.
Posted by a parent on 11/27/2016I graduated from West in 2008. I had SOME amazing teachers, others truly should not have been attempting to teach. College prep was a joke. There were so many fights, gang issues, and teen pregnancies it made it feel like an alternative school! West, and other davenport high schools are way behind.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI know someone who attends Trinity, and they’ve shared that their experience has not always been positive. In some situations involving student behavior or missing items, the way discipline is handled has sometimes felt stricter than expected for the situation. This has made some students feel uncomfortable or worried about how they might be treated if something goes wrong.I think it would be helpful if disciplinary responses were more consistent and matched more clearly to the situation, so students understand what to expect and feel they are being treated fairly.Overall, I’ve heard good things about the elementary school, but there are concerns about the middle school experience.
