I love the diversity at this school. The events sponsored by the school and PTA get families involved in their child's education and that has been proven to be a factor in a child's education.
Posted by a community member on 11/20/2015This is my third year teaching here at Jefferson! I have seen huge growth each year in every grade level. I see many students and teachers collaborating and bring each other to the next levels in their thinking. It is a fun place to teach and I am proud and honored to work here.
Posted by a teacher on 9/3/2015All three of my kids went through Jefferson and loved the entire experience. Did they receive a good education? You decide - one is in social work, another is in pharmacy school and the third is in medical school.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Kids have been at the school for 2-3weeks. One of my children was punched in the forehead with nothing more than a forced apology and my other kid was pushed down on the playground. Because in both instances the main teacher was not informed nothing was done. When I contacted the principal several times the next day(out of her office) and the next week (said it was too late for any form of punishment ) . My EH children have all tested above the national average and have always been offered opportunities to deepen their learning and understanding.
