The teachers at Central City really give students individual help and each student grades 5-12 have their own laptop given to them. K-4 classrooms have 1 computer per 2 students. Great place to be for technology and teaching!

I've spent my entire life in the community. The people of the community truly care about their school. There are quite a few of us parents who grew up here and are beginning participate as parents in the school system and in local government and a couple teach here. A few years ago the community took on a bond to build a new building for the high school. And make some other improvements. It's pretty great considering the size of the school. The High school students all get a laptop to use while their in school for free. There are a lot of opportunities to take college courses at Kirkwood, buses take the kids if they don't have their own transportation to Kirkwood's campuses. Being a small school there are a lot of opportunities to participate in sports, and choir and band. They just completed a football field renovation and installed a new all weather track. There are other plans to improve the rest of the athletic facilities and parking. All in all its a great small town school.
