Posted by a community member on 10/3/2016I think that Wilson School is a great school and that it is very nice to have the quality of teachers that this fine school has especially the 8th grade Science Teacher. I think that the teachers really care and that they are striving very hard to get the children to learn. Keep up the good work.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has had both good and bad experiences at this school. The bad, however, outweighs the good. He has wet his pants when a teacher refused to let him go to the restroom. He has been bullied. He hasn't learned anything this school year because the teacher has no control over his classroom. I've spoken with the new principal about moving my son to a different teacher this year and was told no. The principal is new as of last month so is unaware of the plans and actions previously in place to help this teacher and because he hasn't been involved, he basically wants to start from scratch. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Cedar Rapids 13 years ago and didn't know where to enroll our young sons in our new community- All Saints was an easy choice for us after researching many schools in the area - the "feel" of the school was warm and kind and the preschool/faculty immediately made us feel welcome. We have been very happy with our two sons' preschool to 5th grade experience at All Saints due to the smaller class sizes, school community, leadership opportunities, additional STEM and computer science curriculum, and makerspace hands-on projects . The teachers have been great to work with- they are helping to get them ready for middle school and teaching them how to be kind, thoughtful, and caring individuals. There are numerous activities that students and parents can be involved in. The teachers are compassionate and truly set up each student for success. The administration is supportive.
