"GreatSchools.org" fails miserably at properly measuring the impact on their metrics when you have a school with a diverse set of students and needs, including Jefferson's amazing support of students with disabilities.The teachers at J

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has had both good and bad experiences at this school. The bad, however, outweighs the good. He has wet his pants when a teacher refused to let him go to the restroom. He has been bullied. He hasn't learned anything this school year because the teacher has no control over his classroom. I've spoken with the new principal about moving my son to a different teacher this year and was told no. The principal is new as of last month so is unaware of the plans and actions previously in place to help this teacher and because he hasn't been involved, he basically wants to start from scratch. There are numerous activities that students and parents can be involved in. The teachers are compassionate and truly set up each student for success. The administration is supportive.
