Anamosa is VERY lucky to have St Patrick School. The staff does a wonderful job teaching the kids both academically and socially, encouraging values such as respect, compassion, and building confidence. Students get the individual attention they need to grow and be successful individuals and it is obvious the teachers truly care about them. The staff knows each student by name including 3 year olds that attend only twice a week. The older students are great role models for the younger children, reading to them, escorting preschoolers helping them at lunch, and setting positive examples. I was amazed and proud to watch my quiet 1st grader do a wonderful job reading up front at church with no sign of nervousness. The Preschool Program is excellent and offers an all day option, which has been great in preparing my 4 year old to start Kindergarten. My 3 and 4 year old have loved their time at St Patrick's Preschool and have learned so much! I couldn't be happier with the education my children are receiving at St Patrick s.
