Trinity Christian School

Kaelepulu is such a great school. It is very small which allows for close cultivated relationships with each other and the families. We have always had amazing teachers. The kids are taught to love and respect each other and you can see that in their behaviors. Kaelepulu has not only taught subject matter but also how to be kind and respectful humans. They assist in connecting the kids to nature through gardening. We will miss this school so much. The staffs love for the kids shines through.

We are new to the area. After reading reviews I was so scared. Please judge for yourself. Me and my two children were embraced with an aloha spirit. We come from the mainland and my children are behind. Not saying that will be the case for you and yours. Just providing an unbiased honest review. So far I wish I had enrolled my children sooner! I hope you can rest easy too once you DO enroll your children. Much love from one stressed ma to another. So the school is BEYOND expectations, and and excellent learning environment! Everyone is committed and it shows! The children are all so kind and respectful!

Wow! What an incredible school. My son is in Kindergarten here and every single person we've encountered - from teachers, to counselors, to the nurse the principal, the front office, and education aides - has been truly committed to supporting the children. The older children smile and wave when they walk past the grown ups. It is a magical place, both in terms of the physical space and the overall vibe. They really are living their values and the kids here are fortunate to learn and grow in an environment that appreciates SEL as much as academic progress (and understands they are two sides of the same coin). We couldn't be happier or more grateful about our decision to send our son here.

The teachers, and the principles at the school are amazing. Do not go to the school unless you are OK with being bullied by other parents. Not only have I been treated poorly by other parents. I know other parents who have been treated poorly by other parents. My children have been approached by other parents, and I don’t feel as though the school has taken it seriously which is why I give a safety rating of one. In the first few years, I did see issues with the administration, but seems like all of that has been ironed out. Our first year at the school, we had a physical abuse by a teacher, which was not addressed until I contacted the district and they were unaware of the situation, even though I had been in contact for several months with the principal and asked to change teachers several times. We are having issues again this year with a teacher who seems completely out of tune with life. The programs at the school are unmatched, but you have to deal with all of the parent drama in order to get them.
