Read what parents are saying about Allgood Elementary SchoolI was here for a couple of years and to call the experience horrible is an understatement. Teachers talk to each other more than to the students, the staff are not energetic at all, and reluctantly do their job. You have been warned, do not send your child here.
Posted by a community member on 8/24/2023Parent teacher communication is horrible. I'm constantly contacting the school for something. It's hard to keep up with grades because the teachers don't post them on infinite campus as they should. My children are miserable at all good. They use to enjoy being at school, but thats changed since they've been enrolled at Allgood. We are switching them very soon.

Teachers do not and will not send home grades as far as homework, project assignments, test, and classwork grades, so that you can stay on top of your child's progress. Other children in school often pick on other kids (I will say this was address when I brought it to the attention of the Principle).

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall experience has been nothing but satisfactory! The teachers are attentive and creative with their learning techniques. I have two daughters who unfortunately are attending a new school this year because of location change. I've gone to parent-teacher meetings and participated in the PAC program. I saw how the school operated up close and personal. All problems rather it was an academic issue or other issues, it is always handled with delicacy and with a solution. The principal Mrs. BB is truly a strong leader and has no problem backing her students and staff! Alot of the teachers/staff like Mrs. Bailey, Mr. Gordan, Mrs. Johnson, Mr. LeJhon, Ms. M. Grimes, Mr. Curry, Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Washington, Mrs. Utsey, Mrs. Knowles, Mrs. Bryant, Mrs. Durden and so on are inspiring and work collectively to make the school a tremendous success! They said we will potty train but they didn’t do! Ever day when he come back home his diaper! Even I send launch and milk but they didn’t give him even they didn’t touching it!
