Read what parents are saying about Pharr Elementary SchoolMy son is pushed to achieve and explore new things. They also assist me with making special learning accommodations for his needs.
Posted by a parent on 11/2/2023DON’T CARE/ IN IT FOR A PAYCHECK My child’s teacher is bitter, untrustworthy and heartless. She’s very vain, she believes that she’s above the parents. She destroyed my child’s assignments. She hides the necessary tools to do the work. I asked about all of these things. Not only did she get defensive and lied, she insinuated that my child’s was incapable of learning. My child’s complained how she refused to help him like she does the other students. Clearly she have no desire to teach only belittle and intimidate my child. Student deserves a teacher that will push and believe in them and that cares about their future.
Posted by a parent on 9/9/2022This is one of the best schools in Georgia.
Posted by a parent on 6/18/2022I moved from Anderson-Livsey district to attend Pharr, and now, the same issue traveled. Charlotte Martin is such a negative person. She bullies teachers and is not professional.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, my first child is succeeding, but I do not feel she is being challenged enough to prepare for more competitive environments. The performance numbers have declined in our 5 years here and we are exploring other options.Parent Review4y ago - Brookwood Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has an IEP. They stopped giving him therapy services, isolated his class in the classroom, did not allow them to go to the library or the lunch room. The AP is nasty and if you ask her anything or try to get information regarding your child, she gets irritated. They also moved my son to a new classroom with new teachers without telling us and when I went to pick him up early to go to private therapy, they didn't know where he was and it took over an hour for them to figure it out.Parent Review2mo ago - Craig Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a little nervous after reading some reviews left by minority parents, being one myself. However, I absolutely love Craig Elementary. The school is right outside of our neighborhood so I am able to get there very quickly for events. The staff has been amazing with both my daughters in our first year. My eldest (4th grade) had lots of girl drama and her teacher always kept me informed, the administrators cared and overall just made us feel supported. Both of my daughters' teachers were amazing. Not only do I love the school my girls love the school as well. We are looking forward to 1st and 5th grade for the 2023-2024 school year.Other Review10mo ago - Sola Fide Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love this school!! We tell all of our friends and family about this school. We love how they get the community involved, they have many different family functions where everyone gets together for fellowship. This school has an International Fair each year where everyone comes out and represents their heritage. This school does a lot of community outreach. Sola Fide loves to get families involved. It's one big school family and everyone is so friendly and welcoming here. When our child was having some behavior issues the school really worked with us and helped us through this ordeal. They totally met us where we were at. Plus, Sola Fide also saw that our child was doing well in Math and advanced him up in a math grade. Us finding this school has always been a blessing and we are so grateful that our neighbor told us about this school. Plus, they teach our child about God and we feel that is important for all of us. We love when our child comes home and tells us Bible stories. We would highly recommend this school to everyone.Parent Review2y ago - Harbour Oaks Montessori School

The teachers and administrators have been extremely helpful with any suggestions or issues. The school has many events for parents and families to take part in throughout the year. A really great feel of community at this school.Other Review10mo ago
