I wouldn’t even send my dog to this school. Poor quality all around so much to the point I’m considering homeschooling my child. The principal is nice, but he should really take notes from other more mature school settings and professionalism at all costs. No black history program, the teacher canceled our conference with no explanation, a safety issue was notated that I had with my son and him walking home with walkers without my permission yet he was released to go anyway, and the biggest blow of all. Not every child gets an award at the end of the year. You have to be invited. That’s terrible and makes divisions at an early age. What are we teaching Dr. Lewis? Your school needs some refining and your teachers need to brush up on what it means to keep communication lines open and how to support EVERY child. You also need to do better with our history you broke my heart by not doing more to celebrate black excellence in your school and community. Fr start to finish you have made our second grade year a miserable one, NEVER to be forgotten. You tolerate families well, but you don’t do enough to make them feel welcome or at best, INCLUDED. We will never recommend your school to anyone. And you couldn’t even leave a review on google says even more. I rebuke those spirits in the name of the most high and GOODBYE!!!!!

I am military and i loved it when my sons attended this school. there was alot of complain about this school. but we approached each and every staff with consideration. and they responded positively with any issue we had. so i did not have any problems with the staff. my sons left this school with a bunch of awards including characteristic awards. sometimes its not the school thats the problem its the parents that are nagging too much and being inconsiderate about the people helping their kids most of the day.

Very well and outgoing to say the least other than bulling

Hesse has been a great experience for all three of my daughters. We have been very pleased with their teachers and all of the other wonderful support staff and educators at this school!

Today I went to the school to pick up my son. The two ladies in the front office were very impatient and rude. I was trying to explain the problem, but they did not listen carefully. I believe the teaching quality at this school is very low, and unfortunately I have not seen any improvement in my son.

this school is an average. though there is a big sense of family (everyone knows everyone), the academics need more work. i graduated from this school last school year. their curriculum, in terms of advancement, has flourished, though. the elementary school is very nice, and you will get a nice education from PK-5. the middle school needs work. the classes are nothing in comparison to high school, and i believe that they do not prepare you well enough for that big step. for example, i am stressing right now because in my math class, what is supposed to be "review" from 8th grade is new material for me. you should send your child here if you want him or her to grow and flourish in a huge, culturally diverse family!
