We've had a wonderful experience at Heard Elementary. The teachers are engaged, caring, and truly invested in helping each child succeed. They are willing to think outside the box to meet students where they are and provide meaningful learning opportunities. The curriculum is appropriately challenging and encourages students to grow academically while building confidence.My only area of concern is the amount of time students spend on their iPads. While I understand technology has an important place in education, I would love to see more hands-on learning, collaborative activities, and traditional classroom instruction balanced with screen time.Overall, Heard Elementary has created a supportive, engaging environment where students are challenged, encouraged, and cared for. We're grateful for the dedicated staff and the positive experience our family has had

I wouldn’t even send my dog to this school. Poor quality all around so much to the point I’m considering homeschooling my child. The principal is nice, but he should really take notes from other more mature school settings and professionalism at all costs. No black history program, the teacher canceled our conference with no explanation, a safety issue was notated that I had with my son and him walking home with walkers without my permission yet he was released to go anyway, and the biggest blow of all. Not every child gets an award at the end of the year. You have to be invited. That’s terrible and makes divisions at an early age. What are we teaching Dr. Lewis? Your school needs some refining and your teachers need to brush up on what it means to keep communication lines open and how to support EVERY child. You also need to do better with our history you broke my heart by not doing more to celebrate black excellence in your school and community. Fr start to finish you have made our second grade year a miserable one, NEVER to be forgotten. You tolerate families well, but you don’t do enough to make them feel welcome or at best, INCLUDED. We will never recommend your school to anyone. And you couldn’t even leave a review on google says even more. I rebuke those spirits in the name of the most high and GOODBYE!!!!!

My children all went here and loved it. The staffs are so kind and helpful.

It’s a very bad school the kids are bad and honestly don’t put your kids in that school!
