I’ll admit - I initially had hesitations about sending my kids here given the scores on websites like these, so for kindergarten we put my older daughter at a local STEM charter school. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThree of our children have attended Crabapple Montessori, including one currently in the Primary program. I could not recommend this school more! The Montessori model teaches independence and curiosity in learning, while also meeting the child where they are and allowing them to work at their own pace. Our children have all been high performers and advanced, and they've been able to be thoroughly challenged throughout all their years at CMS. Our two oldest have seamlessly integrated into a more traditional elementary school after completing Montessori Primary at CMS with an AMAZING foundation of knowledge. The work would always be due on around the same day, some specific teachers clearly favored one person or one gender in my opinion. All of my classmates didn't like the school and I have yet to meet a student who would say they liked ILM Academy. I had high hopes as a student there and I was let down. The rules also kept progressively getting stricter and it now seems like it's hard to fit in at times.
