Posted by a parent on 5/24/2021As a 2nd grader my daughter did well. She had Mrs Collins and Mrs. Denton as her primary teachers. Communication was easy and clear when I had questions about school work. My daughter really enjoyed their teaching styles and work activities. Front office staff were courteous and informative.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 2 oldest kids went to school here. This school scores wonky on scales like this because it's only PK, K and 1st grade in this building before they go over to RHES for 2nd and 3rd grade, and finally 4th and 5th at Carver. These schools are part of the tri-schools here in Richmond Hill. This was a big change for me as a parent however, we've grown to like the benefits of having these age groups together in one building vs PK-5th all together. Our experience here is exceptional. We were blessed with wonderful and caring teachers. I appreciate that the school tends to lean heavy on creativity vs standardized methods of learning and teaching. We didn't receive homework outside of a couple of cute little projects like disguise your turkey and there were a multiple times through the year I was able to volunteer or join my children during a celebration or party. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 2 kids here, one still there, one who is in public schools. Dont listen to negative reviews. 2 kids in pre k and there is no homework. They help potty training and most of the teachers are moms and have kids. Its a wonderful environment. The teachers are loving and amazing. My kids love it. The staff is amazing and supportive.
