Read what parents are saying about Booth Middle SchoolThe school provides great accelerated classes, the teachers are very experienced, and a good variety of extracurricular activities.
Posted by a student on 9/2/2023Terrible school. For the most part, students are placed in all the same classes; high performing students and below average students aren’t separated into classes based on their skills. Instead, nearly every student is forced to take the same classes which leads to chaos and only the average students benefiting. I completely agree with the other one-star review that is posted here, albeit about five years later. Peachtree City has an education problem that they refuse to acknowledge or fix. Administration and faculty are in the building only because it is their job, not because they care about the students. These issues were non-existent when I transferred to Coweta county schools, which ended up being a fairly normal school system.

Posted by a student on 8/31/2021Not very good, the teachers don't really care if you pass or fail. They just really want you to not annoy them.
Posted by a student on 4/27/2021I went here for 1 year when I was in 8th grade 6 years ago. Awful administration and awful curriculum. Worst middle school to go to if one is performing at an above-average level. Lack of accelerated classes. Hallways smell like chlorine all of the time. Teachers pick favorites and grade papers based on who they like. For example, I won an essay contest with a paper that my teacher graded with a "C" because she did not like me. The same teacher wrote up a friend of mine for destroying a book that he did not like, even though the book belonged to him. Avoid at all costs.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to this school his last year in elementary. I was nervous about it because he would be a new student and already had established friendships at the other school. However, I was extremely impressed with PCES. The administration and teaching staff were some of the best I’ve ever seen. He has never been a kid to be into trouble and yet they still knew him by name. They made it a point to make his transition comfortable. They not only educated him but took a personal interest in building a relationship with him and us as a family. He still has connections that formed there although he’s now in middle school. His demographic group made up only 10% of students yet that wasn’t an issue either. I love this school and would definitely recommend it.Parent Review6mo ago - Kedron Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has attended since 1st grade and is currently in third. Principal Voorhies and VP Distephano have been great whenever I have gone in. Front office staff are always pleasant and helpful. I enjoy the PTO involvement and they are very active, which means lots of opportunities for parents to be involved. Parents can have lunch with their children and all my daughters teachers have been helpful. I am an involved parent and reach out to check in and each of her three teachers have been proactive with communication and sending additional support resources when she is struggling with a topic. I moved from out of state and was concerned about GA schools. I have not been disappointed by Kedron. My daughter talks about her lessons with excitement. My only issue is a lot of the programming does not seem to consider dual working households but that is a trend in Peachtree city. PTO meetings are ar 8am, for example. I am able to attend due to remote work,, but I often think about how much I would miss if I still worked on site and how many parents cannot take off or be late to work.Parent Review1y ago - Oak Grove Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family has been a part of the Crabapple Lane community since 2019. Our experience has been nothing but overwhelmingly positive the entire time. The administration, teachers, and staff all treat students and families alike as a valued part of the Crabapple family. While education is a huge priority, the staff knows that these are elementary students and do everything they can to ensure the school is an enjoyable, safe, and fun place for all students. Parents are also welcomed in as volunteers. Our children absolutely love going to school at Crabapple, and I appreciate being welcomed in as a part of the community.Parent Review8mo ago - St Paul Lutheran School
