Read what parents are saying about Westmont Elementary SchoolThis school is beyond terrible and it starts with Tami Flowers. She makes decisions based on personal feelings rather than being objective. Teachers appear to just not care about what they are contributing to the children, but waiting to retirement. Teachers showing up for scheduled meetings in leggings, Ugg boots, and a t-shirt. Looked completely unprofessional. We literally moved to get our kids out of this terrible environment.
Posted by a parent on 9/22/2021Pretty much a positive experience. The teachers seem to be kind and concerned about the kids. Our grandson has told us that there is some bulling. Not, sure about that. We're not there all day. Also, in the lunch room, he dropped his pizza last week. And, he says there was no one to help him. Therefore he had no lunch..
Posted by a parent on 8/23/2018Westmont is a great school! Both of my daughters went there for Pre-K through 5th grade, one is in 9th grade now and the other in 7th. My son started there in kindergarten and is now in the second grade. We have NEVER had any major problems with the school or the staff. Everyone there has always been very nice and seems to really care about the students. Every single time that I have had a question or concern, the teachers and/or administration have been willing to listen to me and the issue was taken care of. GREAT STAFF --- KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Posted by a parent on 4/19/2018The principal at this school is whimsical and a perfect example of the Peter principle. A lot of the teachers are fantastic and passionate about education and their students but I have witnessed others treat students with special circumstances with contempt (borderline bullying).
Posted by a parent on 2/16/2018This school is falling apart. It is in a state of disrepair, from the inside to the disgraceful sports fields outside. There are rodents in the building and the administration does not do enough to combat bullying behavior. In terms of academics, this school does not measure up to schools in neighboring districts.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey do not consider the safety of the children nor the employees when surrounding counties have school closures, they are open. I guess they cater to the parents that need a day care and do not want to watch their own childrenOther Review3mo ago - Brookwood Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a military family, we have gone through 2 other elementary schools for my now 4 grader, and Prek students. I cannot say enough positive things about this school, it's staff, and community! My kids come home everyday excited to teach me what they learned, the friends they've made, and how excited they are to go to school the next day! There have been a lot of family included events, that we have enjoyed. The communication from the school and teachers is way above par too. I do have a child with two diagnoises, and an IEP for learning disabilities. The SPED and support team are phenomenal! I highly recommend this school!Parent Review1y ago - Columbia County Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff here at CCCA are always ready to help and listen to any parent with concerns and they show the same attention to all students. Their teaching skills are excellent and the students grades reflect this. They welcome parents to get involved and keep up with what is going on in their school. Their academic program is one of the best. This school has a a very good administrator with strong leadership and respect in the school with her staff.Other Review13y ago - Augusta Preparatory Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAP is a school where teachers are empowered to create engaging lessons that lead students to think through things on their own rather than being told what to think. Administration is really responsive to questions and issues. As a parent, I know that teachers and staff know my child and I am able to reach out to any of them and they will respond thoughtfully. Love that the school is prek-12 so there is continuity - no need to switch schools as children age up. It is a challenging school where kids aren't pushed to succeed academically - they actively seek to do it themselves and there is such a wide variety of activities, teams, clubs, and classes to support any interest. Kids interested in STEAM will be excited by the theater, ceramics, 2D art, Robotics, Coding, and engineering classes offered and a new one of a kind STEM building to support all those interests and more. We've been at Prep for 4 years and are continually impressed by the efforts of students, teachers and admin to make this such a great school, not just academically, but socially. A comprehensive anti-bullying program is used starting in the lower school and creates a culture of inclusivity and tolerance for diversity.Parent Review3mo ago - Providence Baptist School
