Cheatham Hill Elementary School

We chose this school district based on glowing recommendations. We've had 3 kids at Burruss over several years, and our experience has been rewarding and filled with love. The teachers provide one-on-one attention, ensuring each child's needs are met. This amazing, diverse school cultivates a rich environment where every child has a voice and the opportunity to thrive, supported by a loving staff and an engaged community. Any challenge is met with skillful guidance, helping students grow into people who will make the world better. A.L. Burruss is a true model for what every school should be.

I went to this school from kindergarten to 5th and I absolutely do not recommend going. school is dreaded when you learn at still. half the staff is rude and disrespectful to the students. do not send ur children here if you want a positive and safe learning experience for their early school years. when you go here it makes you want to drop out on the first week. The teachers are constantly sarcastic and disrespectful and biased so much favoritism in the classroom and way too much political talk in the classroom it’s completely inappropriate for little children I do not recommend this school.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible experience our son had at Primrose for the last two years. From the very first day, it was clear that this school was built on a foundation of genuine care, thoughtful structure, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.The teachers are exceptional. Their patience, creativity, and dedication helped our son build confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning. He is more than ready for Kindergarten, both academically and socially. The directors and staff are amazing. They consistently foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere. Communication with families is strong, and it’s clear that every member of the team truly cares. The positive impact this school had on our son's early development cannot be overstated. It was heartwarming to see him come home excited to share what he learned and eager to return the next day. We highly recommend Primrose to any family looking for a high-quality Pre-K experience!
