Read what parents are saying about Sweetwater Elementary SchoolMy son started kindergarten there and he has done well and excelled. He will be going to first grade in the gifted program next year. His teachers have been very good about communication all year. I wish they could be his teachers next year! Every time there has been anything I needed they have been on top of making sure any concerns are addressed
Posted by a parent on 5/1/2022I feel like this school is doing everything it can to keep students safe during the pandemic. It is difficult to know exactly what to do, but I think they are doing the best they can, and am grateful to feel safe that the virus won't spread there.
Posted by a community member on 8/6/2021Lindsey is a horrible example for the kids. I guess if you can't run a High School they transfer you to elementary school. Douglas County must be desperate to keep Lindsey as a principal.
Posted by a parent on 11/9/2020Don't be white here. My son for 3 years was bullied to the point he was stabbed because he was white. Video seems to disappear, along with staff being told not to write reports so there's no paper trail. State was called but they protect their own. You want your children safe don't send them here.
Posted by a community member on 8/4/2016The administrators need to be investigated and removed. They are inconsistent in their actions involving the students. For the same action one student will get suspended while another gets "mediation" for the same offense or worse. The administration is not even sure what their jobs actually are. If you are a parent who values education or likes to be involved in your child's education, move as far away from this school as possible.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been through a lot the last couple of years and yet this school prevails to greatness! The new principal and staff are great educators who care for their students and love them as their own. I can honestly say that this school is above the rest and will do what they can to keep our children safe and allow them the opportunity to grow and further their education. I am a proud Ram parent and anyone and everyone should feel this way too!! Way to go Rams!Teacher Review8y ago - Factory Shoals Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageteachers have attitude problems. they have no self awareness (child was diagnosed autistic) and teachers failed to see the signs. they do not care about teaching your children. my child (white female) had rocks thrown at her and bullied constantly.Parent Review3y ago - Atlanta West Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would have given the school 1 star, but there are actually decent teachers who care about the students. The administration, however, is horrible. Never received test scores from previous year, delayed ordering necessary books for months, refusal to answer direct questions or emails. Unless the entire administration, leaves, take your children at your own risk. They do not care about them, only money.Parent Review7y ago - Colonial Hills School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageColonial Hills is an excellent school. I had 2 daughters attend Colonial Hills Christian School. One of my daughters graduated from CHCS. She loved the teachers and believed they loved her. She had the opportunity to participate and excell in numerous sports and extracurricular activities. She was encouraged to try new things and to do her best. She graduated went to an amazing college and graduated with honors. My youngest daughter went to Colonial Hills k-4 through 6th grade. She went to another private school. She had to test in to her new school. Thank you CHCS! My daughter tested at top of her class. She was placed in advanced classes and excelled in all of her classes. She is graduating this year. She is still at the top of her class. In the Fall, she will attend the university of her choice with an academic scholarship. Thank you Colonial Hills Christian School. CHCS gave my girls a comfortable, safe place to grow academically and spiritually. No one can beat a Christian education and no one does it better than Colonial Hills Christian School.Parent Review9y ago
