My child has been attending Hollis Hand since he started Pre-K in 2015. We are really happy with the quality of education and the friends he’s made along the way. Great school!

I love this school and the teachers and administrators! Our school is fortunate to have an outstanding team of educators and administrators who are dedicated to helping every student succeed. Their passion, collaboration, and commitment create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow both academically and personally. The many successes of our students are a direct reflection of the hard work, leadership, and genuine care shown by our entire school community each day.

Ethel Kight has been great for us and our daughter. She seems so at home and the teachers all seem to love and care for her. She's been attending this school for the last two years. We've been looking to move but haven't because we can't seem to find a house to purchase in their district. We really love the teachers and environment at Ethel Kight and so does our daughter. The fact that she has some physical limitations and that they are always there to help gives us great joy. We thank God for the Teachers and the entire staff! Let's go Knights

Send your child to this school if you would like them to be terrorized and bullied by the students and teachers. Since the entirety of my oldest son attendance here he has been bullied and the teachers ignore. It has gotten so bad that I have to started teaching him self defense. The problem with that is my son has a kind soul and will not hit anyone even if they hit him. Just to name 2 incidents a student hit my son in the face because he wanted to break in line; another incident occurred in his homeroom where the same student stabbed him in the hand with a pencil. The teacher didn't even notify me, I had to hear this from my son. When I asked the teacher why the lack of communication involving bullying and my son getting injured she said it slipped her mind. WOW! So send my son home with a hole in his hand. I can count on 1 hand how many teachers are actually great. I can name them too. I am so exciting the school year is over because my children will not be returning to this school. My children and my experience at this school has highly made me consider home schooling. By far the worst school in Troup County.

I am blown away by how amazing LaGrange Academy is. The student/teacher ratio is perfect and the atmosphere is top notch. I feel so blessed that my child goes here. When I am at work I have zero worry that my child is well taken care of. That is extremely important to me and LaGrange Academy truly does care about my child’s education!

My family moved here from out of state. My child was advanced ahead one grade in the previous state. She scored extremely high I-Ready test scores before she entered this school. Her previous school taught her ahead of her grade because she was so smart. At Clearview, she has learned the schooling she already learned the year before at her old school. It was a repeat of the schooling she already had, so now her I-Ready scores have declined. I feel she lost a year going to this school. If your child is smart or gifted I strongly suggest putting them in private school or home school instead. Also the kids that go here seem to be really rough. My child has seen multiple fist fights, and she had been punched in the chest herself. I definitely do not recommend.

I can't say enough good things about Hillside. This school has become an extension of our family. The level of skill and passion these teachers and staff have for Montessori education is amazing to watch.We have had one child there from 18 months through Lower Primary, and our second child starts in a few weeks. The value of sending our children here instead of to a daycare has been huge.Watching friends who live other places and don't have a Montessori option send their kids to daycare where they pay more money for a bare minimum level of childcare has been eye opening.At Hillside, we always know our kids are safe, cared for, happy, and learning. When our son was 2 years old, he came home singing a song that we couldn't quite understand the words to. That night at bedtime, he pointed to a map and said "That's North America!" That was when we realized he had been singing the continents song all afternoon. He has grown in practical skills (helping us with dinner every night), creative ability (he loves painting and drawing), and emotional maturity (helping with his little sister because he is used to "being a leader" in the classroom at school).I don't write reviews often, but Hillside deserves more than five stars.
