This school is run prison-style. The kids are assigned seats everywhere they go, even at lunch. They have to be granted permission to get up to get a napkin or get up at all from their assigned table. The teachers are sub-par from our experience. 3rd grade was decent, 4th grade has been a nightmare-
Posted by a parent on 10/22/2022I’m my opinion the school is a little over rated. I think the kids should be able to have a normal child hood. I think to have a diverse school the staff should be a reflection this diversity. How many minorities do the school and the district employ as educators?

Posted by a parent on 3/3/2017I am surprised to see why shakerag didn't receive 10 points . I would say this is the best school in north Fulton. Only issue I found is Asian population is quite high and emphasis on more on academics . Besides this feeds river trail , which is the best middle school in this region.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKnown for bullying and group of teachers protecting them.My son has been a victim of bullying for years latest one was cleaning agent attack straight to his eyes and mouth and been under medical care for a week. This done by same age kid and even haven’t been sent to nurse . science teacher who was supervised purposely ignored seeing him a nurse and even my son’s best friend asking her to send him to a nurse.Imagine how cruel this environment is to attack a classmates with chemicals plus ignoring medical care while their supervision .After we questioned them result was that had to withdraw our both children from school .No one knows who bullied innocent children because they don’t let them to talk; speaking out against bully is punishable by isolating them around school.Parent Review1y ago - Duluth Montessori School
