Harris County is an amazing school. Love the theater department Mrs. Longshore is simply the best. Not a fan of the principle but we try not to deal with him as he has a very unique leadership style that does not encourage the students in a positive manner. 6th year with a child at HCHS, we are not happy at all! Other previous statements below mentioned that the teachers take complaints made about them out on your student! That is a FACT, it happens!! Harris County High has been great for my son. This is his first year of high school (9th grade) as well as this is a new school for him. He loves it and so do we.

HCHS is a great school and have some great teachers but if you make some of them mad then they take it out on the student and that's not fair to the student. They will hold your child back instead of coming to you. The band director especially is good for that. The principle will tell you what he th
