As a guardian, I am extremely disappointed with how students are sometimes treated at this school. I have heard repeated concerns about students being questioned or made to feel like they are doing something wrong simply because they are in an area where they are allowed to be.Students do not all ha
Posted by a parent on 9/1/2026The counselors are a HOT MESS! But overall, the only person in charge of a students education is the student. The student makes it a Good OR a Bad school for them. Students are at an age where they feel they need to compare with others. They don't see it but they take away from those students who ar
Posted by a parent on 10/18/2023All in all I do not like or dislike the school, of course I attend the school but if I had a choose of changing schools I would most definitely do so. The students themselves are the main thing I really dislike, the like of variety concerns me. No matter what race they are, majority of them are the

Posted by a community member on 3/18/2016Don't listen to the bad reviews. Forest Park High is an overall great school. The students are mature and the teachers are professional. It is also the most diverse school on the south side.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have children that have been going to LCE since 2000. They all graduated from LCE, Babb & Forest Park H.S. 10 children, 7 have graduated without a problem from all these schools. And i have to say. We hVe seen teachers become Council members, Principals, Board members etc. I have met the best teachers and principals for so many years. Never will i forget Lake City Elementary staff. Oh, if they see abuse, they will definitely handle it. They don't play when it comes to abuse at home nor in school and It saddens me that we have to move and leave this school and start over again.Parent Review3y ago - Haynie Elementary School

They love it here and I'm proud to say my kids go to a school that they want to be at. They are provided with wonderful teacher's, a great learning environment, and excellent leardership.Parent Review10y ago - Fountain Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been in this school since pre-k and i have not had any issue with anyone. If anything happens they immediatelycalls parents and takes action. I feel safe to have my son attending this school because staff do care about students. They are very informative and communicate with parents based on our child academics. The only thing that the school needs is more of our support as parents by attending to all meetings or being part of the PTA in order to give our input of what do we want for them to work on for the best of school and kids so our kids can see we are also part and care about their education. Overall i do recommend this school.Parent Review4y ago - Morrow Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the third year my daughter is enrolled in this school. The first two years were awesome. Teachers were great. If they had any issues or needed anything they would communicate with me. This year teachers are horrible. This is the third time they have changed principles and the front desk clerk is terrible!!! She is probably the worst person to deal with in the office. She has an attitude allll the time.Parent Review9y ago - Treetop Learning Academy
