ASES has been a wonderful school! I had a great experience with my first child at this school. My second child now attends and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Dr. Felton is like no other! She is hands down the best principal ever.
Posted by a parent on 1/21/2026This school is the worst thing my son and my family have ever gone through, they ignored him, they did not teach him, they delayed him in school, the teachers do not help the children, not all of them, but there are many teachers who do not do a good job. I would never recommend it.

The Staff and Principal (Mrs.Fields) have ALWAYS gone above and beyond for my children . They keep you updated on any and everything. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Chapel Hill Elementary myself, so enrolling my son here was an easy decision. We LOVE being a Cheetah family!Our son has received a quality education from experienced teachers and staff, and the principal is wonderful. Another big bonus is the very active PTO, which sponsors great activities like the annual fall festival that our family looks forward to every year. The school has a huge focus on literacy that starts in the media center, where they like to say "readers are leaders." That commitment to reading really shows throughout the school.
