City Park School

This school is better than any other school, the people who say it's a lousy school move to another one?

Iv had 4 gr kids going here, still have 3 now. One is having a terrible time. She is 7years old an hads been getting bullied since she's been going. Last year was a nightmare! And it's no better this year. Something has to be done!! I ask her last night how it was going, she said it's not working out nanie. The kids are still being mean. No child needs to be dealing with this!

I have 3 kids at this school. It started ok with some pretty good teachers, but I have had some concerns from the beginning. Every day my kids come home talking about the movies they got to watch (usually movies we would not let them see at home), or how they were bullied and their teacher wouldn't even do anything about it. They are also surrounded by non-English speaking students and the teachers teach to them which means the curriculum is slowed down for my kids and others who do speak English. On top of that, every parent meeting at the school is in both English and Spanish. So a meeting that should only take 15-20 minutes takes 30-40. There has to be a better way to teach and include non-English speakers. And this year we have ended up with one of the worst teachers ever and we are counting down the days to the end of the school year. And hoping this will be our last year at City Park. Not impressed at all with this school or the staff. There is very little concern for the students or parents.

My kids have been there a couple of years now. At first it seemed like the best school, but now I believe it has went down hill. I heard teachers hollering at my children and the principal is just worried about ratings for the school. If the teachers don't want to teach than they shouldn't be there it's sad no one seems to care. I thk next yr my children will be at Christian heritage! They have some awesome teachers but very minimal.

This is my second review of City Park School however my last child is about to graduate 5th grade so I wanted to leave one last note. This school is AMAZING and completely underrated when compared to other schools in the area. The faculty has helped to mold my son into a responsible individual and I am blessed to have had him (and my daughter) attend City Park.
