My child goes to Abney and is currently in 4th grade. He is bullied regularly and their “not bullying policy” is a joke. My child used to love school and participate. Now my child cries every day, hates school and says that she/he is stupid. The use of force and verbal abuse is unacceptable!

The principal and staff here are in desperate need of professional skills in dealing with the parents and issues that arise. Mr. Wilder has a history of parent interactions that has led to unhappy experiences. He was very short tempered with me when I asked him to help with my special needs daughter getting access to scissors and cutting her hair repeatedly. The office staff is very rude and the teachers that I have worked with are very unenthusiastic about their job.
