Cottrell Elementary School

This school was awful. One of our teachers quit after she was threatened, and the student never was punished. When I was up at school I noticed many bad behavior patterns that were never addressed. My child was in the 10th percentile in his scores, after we moved they ended up in the 97th percentile

My 3 children were nurtured and challenged emotionally and academically in this environment. Our experience was not perfect for every grade, but overall they were prepared for the future and taken care of by dedicated teachers.

My Daughter just finished second grade with an A avg in all subjects. She became an avid reader and at the same time continued to develop in all of the important aspects one would expect and hope for. This site is a place for parents who have issues to voice them. I do realize, that in a school with 500-600 students, there are going to be some parents who have had bad experiences, but this is not the norm at LCES.
