Posted by a parent on 8/26/2022I love my kids school, especially Ms. Russel in the front office. She is so amazing, I know I can always depend on her. Her personality is always the same never changes. My daughter teacher Ms. Martin in the fourth grade has volunteered her own time to stay and help my daughter to be successful this school year. These two women go above and beyond . I appreciate you both for all you do. And I’m proud to say my kids are Live oak Lions
Posted by a student on 5/11/2022It's a great school! Great teachers! I have no complaints against the schoo.
Posted by a parent on 4/25/2022If I could give it no stars I would give it zero stars or even negative stars because it's the worst school in the history of schools
Posted by a parent on 7/6/2017I give live Oak Elementary school 7 out of ten. I think that this is an excellent school. Teachers and other staff members work very well together. Each week a College is selected, this helps children focus on their future a head, and instill a need for how important graduation is to each child.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff truly make sure that parents are involved in their child's education. Fairview always goes above and beyond to make sure that students are positively encouraged to do well in their studies, in addition to behavioral choices. My children have attended here for a few years now and I'm very pleased with the education they have received.Parent Review6y ago - Porterdale Elementary School

I have never had an issues with staff and I do not know about you but if a staff memeber is "rude" about letting a parent in or allowing pick up then I always want a "rude" staff member at the front desk! SECURITY IS EVERYTHING!!! You can't expect someone to just "let you in" based off the fact you say you have a child that attends, you have to prove it. Good on them, I applaud the staff for keeping all of our children safe!I digress, As a parent with a special needs child you can expect for us to be on extreme alert when it comes to the placement of our children, considering majority of children with special needs have delayed speech and can't tell us if something is wrong. With that being said, when my child is excited to go to school and is in absolute awe with the teacher, this tells me I do not need to worry. My child has advanced since attending this school in the following areas: speech, patience, playing well with others, manners, can recognize names of items, the list goes on!!!! I am excited what the rest of her time here holds!Grade: Special Needs Pre-KParent Review9mo ago - West Newton Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just withdrew my son from this school. He is only in kindergarten and I after over a year of bullying with no action taken I decided to take him out. The counselor had a nonchalant approach to my concerns and defended the other student that was bullying my child. There was a threat at the middle school nextdoor and staff told the parents they had no idea about it, even though the middle school called parents and there was a heavy police presence. The teachers are clearly overworked and not supported by the administrators. There is no communication between the staff. Enough is enough. Do better Newton county.Parent Review7mo ago - A Time 4 Learning

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA complete waste of time and money! The teachers are not certified! The owners/principal tell you what you wish to hear. There' also a tanning bed that they allow students to use- unsanitary! Horrible school!Parent Review11y ago - Minnie D. Harris Christian Homeschool Academy
