Read what parents are saying about Eddy Middle SchoolIt is a very bad school and I saw many fights and bullying and I do not recommend this school.
Posted by a student on 12/5/2023I quit teaching because of this school. I did not feel supported at all. I feel as though this school set me up to fail due to the lousy administration and behavior issues among students at this school.
Posted by a community member on 6/8/2019my son is a student at middle school I was reluctant to send them there first but I'm glad I did, they helped him to become successful student his math grade drastically improved and all the teachers and faculty are great regardless of the bad reputation the neighborhood as well as the school had I'm glad he's part of the Eddy general's
Posted by a parent on 8/11/2014Eddy middle school has come a long way over the last couple of years. I have had the pleasure of sending my gifted daughter to this school and have had nothing but great experiences. I was a little hesitant at first because of its reputation but it proved me wrong. The teachers there are great and provide my daughter all of the tools she needs to be successful in life. Oh and another thing my daughter is white and has had nothing but great times at Eddy.
Posted by a parent on 4/28/2014This us to be a good school. You still have some good teachers and students but Eddy is on a downhill slope and no one seems to care. There are students there that have stayed back so many times till it is just sickening. Everyday someone stuff is stolening and the whole attitude of the school is there is nothing we can do. This school need to be overhauled from the principal on down or they just need to close it down. The Board of Education do not seem to care about what is happening at this school because it is majority black.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I was in pre-k I went to this school. I am now in a magnet school, and I am going to a gifted center. This school has led me to be the genius i am today. I am currently in the 4th grade. And I still remember the good teachers at this school. I would definitely recommend this school. 5 stars.Other Review1y ago - Brewer Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school they are willing to help in any way they can. If you have a problem they try to find a solution and fix it. Also they look out for students best interest they are having one of my kids tested for gifted and trying to help my other child with a lisp. Just an overall friendly and helpful school.Parent Review7y ago - Pinehurst Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two children attended Pinehurst (K3 and K5). We loved the K3 teacher, she was amazing. My son talked about her every day. On the other hand it was a nightmare for my daughter in the K5 class. Originally, we were told there would be small class sizes and that was our major concern. We were misled from the beginning. There are 23 students in the PK5 class they told the parents that they were going to hire another teacher and never did so they could split the class up. We could have enrolled her in public school and received the same curriculum, class size, and hands on with the classwork (which was none). My daughter has been in daycare since she was 8 months old and we didn’t have any of the issues that we experienced in this “Christian” school. My daughter was bullied by one of the boys in her class for over a month and the last incident made us take our children out. She was beat up by an older student (boy) on the playground and no one came to her aide. We are furious! We had to take her to the doctor because she woke up with pain in her back, stomach, and head (where she was hit). The lack of supervision and empathy at this school is unreal. This was not what we signed up for. Our children love going to church and being in a Christian atmosphere but this is truly not a Christian setting and the yelling and screaming at the children will leave scars for years….Other Review6y ago - St. Marys Road Christian Academy
