Warren Road Elementary School

I have a 3rd grader and kindergartener in the school this year and so far we love it. It is a smaller school so everyone becomes like a family. The teachers are very sweet and you can tell they love what they do. We especially love Mrs. Caudill (K), Mrs Pirkle (music), Mrs. Danner (3rd) and Mr. Cardoza (PE). I'm sure I'm leaving off some but these are the teachers that my kids come home talking about every day, excited about what they are learning. Keep up the great work Garrett!

I was told by the Special Education board that everyone wants to get into this school, but I was literally begging to get out. Front office staff is extremely rude and when I complained to the Principal, she did nothing and allowed the staff to be petty towards me. The kinder autism class is even worse. The teacher is passive aggressive towards the kiddos and has the paraprofessionals doing her work. I had to speak with paraprof every day during pickup to find out how my child was doing in class because the teacher wrote me generic daily reports. The only GOOD thing I can say about the school is they don't allow just anyone to get on campus, so children and staff are safe.

They do not have a playground for handicap children. They just have to watch the other children play. They could at least get a swing for them.

I could write an entire dang essay on how horrible this place is. And I have!Unfortunately I'm kinda tired rn.All I'm gonna say is that this school is awful.My fifth grade teacher blatantly lied to my mom's face to stop himself from getting in trouble for refusing to listen to both sides of the story.That's only one thing..I was genuinely so depressed and anxious in this school..I started wondering if death would truly be so bad..These people blatantly make fun of the LGBTQ+ community. Yes. Including the teachers.Y'know? Your average "you're a horrible person if you dot worship God" type Christians.I can't even remember learning anything there..other than like..some math stuffI'm going to a new school, and I have already learned so much about cells, and other things like math and language arts. More than I ever could at that school.We hardly learned anything new. All I remember is learning some history (which I barely remember) and being bombarded with random assignments and projects that taught me nothing.Now that I've changed schools, I'm learning so much more, and my mental health has gotten so much better..!My parents insist that this school is helpful, but (not to toot my own horn) I'm pretty sure I'm just smartMostly bc of things like the fixies and..other educational showsI've learned more about the Bible from random YouTube shorts than this school. Pretty sure that says a lot in itself.Anyway don't come here. Please. PLEASE.Bye-bye :3 (I'm not a bot I swear)

AP is a school where teachers are empowered to create engaging lessons that lead students to think through things on their own rather than being told what to think. Administration is really responsive to questions and issues. As a parent, I know that teachers and staff know my child and I am able to reach out to any of them and they will respond thoughtfully. Love that the school is prek-12 so there is continuity - no need to switch schools as children age up. It is a challenging school where kids aren't pushed to succeed academically - they actively seek to do it themselves and there is such a wide variety of activities, teams, clubs, and classes to support any interest. Kids interested in STEAM will be excited by the theater, ceramics, 2D art, Robotics, Coding, and engineering classes offered and a new one of a kind STEM building to support all those interests and more. We've been at Prep for 4 years and are continually impressed by the efforts of students, teachers and admin to make this such a great school, not just academically, but socially. A comprehensive anti-bullying program is used starting in the lower school and creates a culture of inclusivity and tolerance for diversity.
